If you are new to campervanning or a seasoned traveller, a packing checklist is always useful. At Camper Charter, we like to try and make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Use this handy checklist to help you pack what you need.
Consider space: It's a small campervan, so pack light, only bring what you truly need and consider the season!
Sleeping & Comfort
Sleeping bags or duvet
Pillows (inflatable or compressible for space-saving)
Bed sheet or sleeping bag liner
Extra blanket (for chilly nights)
Earplugs & eye mask (optional but handy)
Cleaning and Kitchen
Tea towels (2-3 for drying dishes and general cleaning)
Paper towels or kitchen roll
Bin bags (for rubbish and recycling)
Aluminium foil and/or cling film
Ziplock bags or containers for leftovers
Cooler or cool box (campervan fridges are quite small)
Reusable water bottle
Food and drink
Food for all meals + snacks (prep meals in advance where possible and think easy meals)
Tea/coffee + milk (and sugar if needed)
Condiments (in sachets or mini bottles) including oil or spray oil
Wet Weather & Comfort
Compact umbrella
Laundry bag for dirty clothes
Book, journal, cards or small games
Head torch or lantern
Power bank for devices
USB charging cables
Reusable shopping bags
Picnic blanket or outdoor mat
Foldable coffee cups or thermos flask for drinks on the road
Small Backpack/Day Bag

Clothing (weather-appropriate + layers) inc:
Sleepwear
Waterproof jacket suitable for the season
Warm jumper or fleece
Swimsuit (for wild swims or campsite showers)
Comfortable walking shoes/trainers
Flip flops or easy slip-ons (for camp use/showers)

Toothbrush & toothpaste
Soap/shampoo (solid bars ideal or an all in one)
Deodorant
Wet wipes / face wipes
Compact towel or microfiber towel
Sunscreen
Insect repellent
Hand sanitiser
Hat / beanie / sunglasses (weather depending)

Camping table (if not included)
Clothes pegs & line (for drying towels/swimwear)
Solar stake lights (great for locating the van at night)
Map or printed directions (in case signal fails)

Roll clothing instead of folding
Use vacuum storage bags for bedding
